Grand Prix du Vin Suisse

Awarded a gold medal, these wines are real treasures

Just as it happens in sport, wines can also win medals at special competitions. The "Grand Prix du vin Suisse" is a globally recognised award where the best wines of Switzerland's are chosen each year. In 2021, more than 3000 wines from over 500 Swiss wineries were submitted for participation.

There are 13 different categories, depending on the type of wine (red, white, sparkling...), the grape variety or the winemaking techniques (for instance, barrel ageing). Only 30% of the wines in the competition receive a gold or silver medal. We are therefore particularly proud that over 140 wines available on winemaker.com have won one of these medals. Browse and discover one or two winners for yourself!
