Chasselas is a Swiss emblematic grape variety, and the most planted in the country, too! It was born in the Geneva Lake region, and is appreciated by its capability of expressing terroir. Indeed, different soils, weathers and winemaking techniques will have a big impact in the characteristics of the wine.

Vaud and Valais are the 2 main producing regions, although Chasselas wines can also be found in other Swiss cantons. Discover this Swiss indigenous variety at its many -exciting- faces!
