Valais Set

Discover Switzerland’s largest wine producing region.

Nested at the heart of the Alps, and running along the northern bank of the Rhône river, the Valais wine region holds a large tradition of winemaking dating back to the Roman era – and also happens to be the place of origin of Raclette!
One third of Switzerland’s wine is produced in its beautiful, high-altitude and often terraced vineyards, where grapes benefit from a sunny, dry climate. Discover indigenous varieties and the most exciting producers with this selection of Valais local wines carefully selected by our team.

These are the wines that you will receive:

Johannisberg

Johannisberg (2019)

Johannisberg is the Valais term for the white grape variety Sylvaner, now a traditional variety in Switzerland's largest wine-growing canton. The Ardévaz family estate produces this expressive white wine under the leadership of the young and dynamic oenologist John Boven. Its structure and body make it ideal for an aperitif or raclette.

A celebrated Bordeaux blend from the Valais: barrel-aged full-bodied wine that shows deep fruit and toasty aromas. The Fontannaz family business rightly challenges the famous French region with this great interpretation from the Valais.

Petite Arvine

Petite Arvine (2018)

This Petite Arvine impresses with its unique minerality, reflected in its salty finish. The palate shows powerful exoticism and freshness. With this wine, Cave Corbassière brings two alledged opposites to a line that offers an amazing drinking pleasure.
