The best blends from the Geneva region come together under the same banner, "L’Esprit de Genève".
Bernard Bosseau, originally from Nantes, produces "L'Esprit de Genève", a red blend with a minimum of 50% Gamay and 20% Gamaret or Garanoir. The idea behind this wine is as follows: about twenty winegrowers from the Geneva region participate in the development of their own "Esprit de Genève", however all under the same label. Only the best wines, however, are selected during a blind tasting. "If one is chosen, one then receives the number of labels and corks stamped with the name "Esprit de Genève". In this way, everyone sells their bottles at the same price. "Every year since 2004, between 30 and 40,000 bottles have been bearing this label. Bernard Bosseau is proud to have always been elected since he has participated in it.
