Ah, Humagne... An irreplaceable palate, we like it or we don't, with its bouquet that evokes dead leaves, forest floor, ivy. Here is a beautiful specimen in all its typicity and splendour, contrasting between finesse and wildness. More

If you make the same mistake that was already made in the 1970s and mistake this autochthonous grape variety for Petit Rouge, you will be on the wrong track. This grape variety is neither related to Humagne Blanche. It comes from the mother Rouge du Pays and an unknown grape father. The following play probably best illustrates the characteristics of the Humagne Rouge: an earthy character meets dry vine leaves, which, enveloped by aromas of violet and wood notes, finally completes the taste experience.
