Cave de Sézenove overlooks the slopes of Lully, and is classified as 1st Cru AOC Geneva. The vines are facing South, overlooking Lake Annecy. They are on a gentle slope between 5 and 15%, which allows for ideal sunshine. The soil is light and relatively gravelly and the grape varieties are evenly distributed. Bernard Bosseau produces about fifteen different wines, four of which are aged in barrels.
As a nod to his Breton origins, Bernard Bosseau always wears a sailor's hat. It is a distinctive sign allowing any visitor to recognize him. "You'll see me in all the photos with a sailor's t-shirt, and I've been wearing it for 30 years." Bernard Bosseau likes to say that he is the westernmost winemaker in the region.
