The estate which has been rooted in the Peissy terroir for 225 years enjoys molasses and clayey soils and a mild climate, the conditions of which are readily exploited by the 17 grape varieties grown to best express their characteristics. The vines are nurtured by the care and respect for the environment that distinguishes the estate: an ecological approach that has led the Domaine des Perrières to produce according to Integrated Production standards.
The company pays particular attention to vinification and cultivation methods. This allows each of the 17 varieties grown to express their full taste potential through techniques specific to each variety. It should also be noted that the company works with its oenologist, Sébastien Schwarz, whose established reputation and know-how adds value to the quality of the wines.
