The estate, divided into numerous plots, is situated in several distinct locations on the slopes of Sierre, on the shores of Lake Géronde and in Corin, in Valais. Most of the plots are unable to be mechanised because of their difficult access and therefore have to be worked by hand. Each vine is rooted in limestone soil and exposed to generous sunshine. These qualities give Jean-Marie Pont's wines an exceptional character balancing elegance and freshness.
The unique feature of Jean-Marie Pont's estate lies in the fact that he and his wife own many small plots of land, recovered from their parents and rented out to private individuals. Each of them is between 500 and 1500 square meters. They are all scattered between Sierre and Corin, which makes the task more complex but full of adventure, due to the distance between plots.
