Located in the commune of Crans-près-Céligny, Château de Crans is an organic wine estate. In charge of the estate and master winemaker, Gilles Pilloud has been progressively applying biodynamic methods since 2007. Château de Crans is considered one of the most elegant historical buildings of the Côte vaudoise. Its vines face Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc. Around ten grape varieties are grown on the 12.7 hectares of vineyard.
At a height of 4.10 metres, the vaulted cellars of the Château bear witness to almost three centuries of history. The letters of the brotherhoods stamped in the stone illustrate the know-how of the craftsmen who built the building. The wine evolves in ideal conditions both in terms of temperature and hygrometry. Equipped with state-of-the-art winemaking equipment, the winery also includes 225 to 500 litre barrels.
