  Garanoir

  This grape variety originates from the Swiss Federal Research Station for Plant Production in Pully, Switzerland. A colour ranging from ruby to purple and aromas of cloves and violets underlines the special character of this grape. Slightly palatable and spicy on the palate, it also convinces with a low acidity and soft tannins. As a general rule, this wine should be drunk rather young.

  Pinot Noir

  The best-known red wine grape in Switzerland is considered the "Queen of Wines". While being a direct descendant from wild vine, it is also a really sensitive variety: Microclimate, terroir and the care and attention to detail applied determine the excellence of its final taste like hardly any other variety. A strong, sweet, complex aroma dominates with a lush bouquet of cherries, strawberries or cassis.

  Gamaret

  This grape from 1970 could be described as a wishful thinking child. It was bred from the Gamay and Reichensteiner varieties with the aim of achieving greater colour intensity and resistance to pests. In the glass it presents itself skillfully in an impressive dark red colour with violet reflections. The taste convinces with aromas of honeydew melon, fresh dates, plums and a touch of fresh pepper. With 13.5% average alcohol content, it is one of the stronger varieties.
