Kartause Ittingen Federweiss

A mild wine with ripe strawberries aromas. It is mildly aged and ideal as an aperitif or, in summer, over a whole meal. Since the Pinot Noir colouring elements are exclusively found in the grape skin, by pressing them immediately after harvest, we obtain a practically colorless juice, which is further processed like white wine. Grape

  • Pinot Noir

The best-known red wine grape in Switzerland is considered the "Queen of Wines". While being a direct descendant from wild vine, it is also a really sensitive variety: Microclimate, terroir and the care and attention to detail applied determine the excellence of its final taste like hardly any other variety. A strong, sweet, complex aroma dominates with a lush bouquet of cherries, strawberries or cassis.
