The Irsslinger winery cultivates 2 main vineyards totalling 4 ha, which are evenly distributed. On the Buechberg in Wangen SZ and Uznach, 9 grape varieties are cultivated, including 1 PIWI variety. More PIWI varieties are to be planted in the future. In Uznach, the soil is deep and has a high skeletal content. The location is very promising a lot with plenty of wind and light. In Wangen SZ, the soil is heavier and has a high proportion of rock. The steep slope is fed by underground water. As a self-pressing operation, the winery produces its wines itself, starting with the care of the vines, through the vinification of the wines, to the sale of the noble drops.
The Irsslinger winery is breaking new ground in all respects. It offers specialties that are rarely found elsewhere. With every visit to the winery you discover something new.
